John 3:16-17:
16: “For God so loved the world that he gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
17: “For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.”
He sent His ONLY son. As a human being, I cannot even imagine the thought of sending my only son to die for a world of sinners. I cannot comprehend such a love, but that is the great love our God has for us. We don’t deserve it, but He loves us beyond measure.
“Thank you, Yahweh, for loving me in spite of my sin and for sending Your Son to die in my place. Amen.”
